Switches
Show a chosen selection of a device's switches, compactly
The Switches widget shows a selection of a device's switches, chosen by you, stacked compactly — handy when only a few specific switches matter to you rather than the whole Device Status.
The gear icon opens the settings:
- Device: which device is shown — defaults to "Current filter device".
- Switches: a checklist of which of that device's switches to show here.
Toggling switches directly
For devices you have write access to, you can toggle the switches directly in this widget - the change is sent to the device as a command right away. If a change fails, the switch briefly jumps back to its last known state.
Without write access to a device, the widget shows the same switches but doesn't let you toggle them - a plain reflection of their last reported state.
Multiple switches widgets
You can have as many Switches widgets on your dashboard as you like, each with its own device and switch selection — via "Add another switches" at the bottom of the settings, or via the "+ Widget" button in the toolbar (see Adding widgets).
