Log
Search and filter a device's event log
The Log widget shows a device's event log as a searchable table — timestamp, level, component and message for each entry. It's collapsed by default since a full table takes up a lot of space; use the arrow in the header to expand it.
- Log level: the device's own current log verbosity - with write access you can change it directly here, just like a switch in Device Status.
- Filters: narrow the table down by level or component.
- Lines: how many of the most recent entries to load (500 up to 10,000).
- The table itself can be sorted, searched, and pages through its results.
The "All" lines option is only visible to staff - it can load a potentially very large number of entries at once.
The gear icon also opens the device picker - by default the log follows whichever device the Filter widget has selected.
Multiple log widgets
You can have as many Log widgets on your dashboard as you like, each with its own device — via "Add another log" at the bottom of the settings, or via the "+ Widget" button in the toolbar (see Adding widgets).
